Can’t View Pages

    Hello,
    I just installed WP 2.0 with no problems. I can create posts no problem, but when I create pages (like contact, about, etc) they don’t show up. I’ve got an htaccess file and I’ve noted I can write to it, but I notice when I create a page, this file doesn’t change (I understand it should, but I could be wrong). What am i missing?

    Are the permissions for the .htaccess file 666 ?
    Not that it should matter with 2.0 but making the .htaccess writable will be the first step.

    I don’t know if the source of the problem is the same, but the symptoms are similar: I just upgraded to 2.0, and can add posts fine, but when I try to add a page, I just get a 404 error when I attempt to view it.

    I tried changing permissions for the .htaccess file (as suggested above), but that didn’t seem to work. Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Could it be related to a plugin I have installed or something?

    BTW- I located the source of MY problem. The Events Calendar plugin was the culprit. Once I deactivated it I was able to successfully add a page. If zachmorris also has this plugin installed, that may be what’s wrong.

    Thanks unfrenzied, EventsCalendar3 was the culprit. Bummer, hopefully this can be fixed easily.
