Capabilities not added

    When I add a new user and assign a certain role, the according capabilities are not granted.

    Is this a known problem?

    Hi @kevinbrands,

    That is not normal. If capabilities are assigned to role and you assign role to a user, then all the role’s capabilities should be automatically assigned to the user.

    That is the fundamental functionality in WordPress core.
