in reality what is displayed is the title and not the caption.

I double checked again and from what I can see in the html it displays the caption there.

If you notice there ‘data-caption’ contains the same text displayed in FancyBox.
The title is a different one, you can see ‘data-title’.
Can you please send me a screenshot to see where you added the caption?

It seems there might be an issue with WooCommerce galleries.
I went ahead and opened a ticket here: https://github.com/ColorlibHQ/fancybox-for-wordpress/issues/83
Our developers will investigate and solve it in a future update.
