Caption not displaying under video

    Hello,

    I have a caption under all the videos. But suddenly the caption is not displaying today. Any reason as to why?

    The caption should say: Notice: The picture quality of these videos do not reflect the picture quality of the Blu-ray or DVD in this package.

    No idea I’m afraid kwongchung; even on YouTube itself I don’t see the caption and I don’t see an option to show captions.

    The caption at the bottom of the video is an area in your plug-in where I insert text. Its not part of YouTube.

    OK, now I understand 🙂 It looks like the conversion of the WordPress YouTube block to a LYTE video somehow looses the caption .. If all the LYTE (YT) videos on your site need the same caption, you could add it in LYTE’s “Text to be added under every LYTE video.”, if not you’ll have to add the text as a separate block underneath the video instead of as part of it.

    Thanks, I can use the LYTE’s “Text to be added under every LYTE video.”

    But everything was fine before – text caption was displaying. I noticed today the captions are not displaying but they are still in the Lyte Youtube block in the admin side.

    It’s weird.

    It’s a bug in LYTE, I just fixed it in the GitHub version which (if you want to test) you can download from here.

    Frank, can you please ensure this bug is fixed in the new version? I am running the github version on a high trafficed production site.

    a next version of LYTE will most certainly have all fixes from the Github version iamonlythird. promise! 😉
