Are you referring to using the images uploaded directly to a folder? If so, my plugin does not read metadata. Using images from the WP media library would result in titles, description, etc being used.
Reading the image metadata would actually be a nice feature, I will consider it as a future enhancement.
Thank you for your response. The Joomla ImageFlow plugin reads the metadata which is very nice. You can edit your pictures in Lightroom including adding the title and caption. The WP media library isn’t all that useful for large image collections since it doesn’t support folders. There is a plugin for that, of course.
I contributed to your plugin but have not received the email for the upgrade. Can you help resolve this issue?

The addons resolve the caption problem since NextGen does read the metadata for titles and captions. However, now the ImageFlow thumbnails are missing their images. I can click in the thumbnail box and go to the NextGen image but thumbnail is missing. My post with the issue is at http://tngenweb.org/decatur/bible-hill-tornado-1952/ Thanks, Jerry

Try regenerating the thumbnails. This plugin uses them as the carousel images.
I am not sure I know what you mean by regenerate the thumbnails. I deleted the files from the NextGen album and re-uploaded the images. Is this what you mean? It did not help.
I had previously used ImageFlow with a folder for my gallery. I deleted this link and the folder containing my images. The Thumbnails still do not show in ImageFlow.
