I am trying to debug an issue where the presence of any image caption (media caption, media description, or manual entry) causes MetaSlider to produce an Internal Server Error 500 when attempting to preview the slideshow. I’m new to MetaSlider so any guidance you could give me to locating the issue/conflict would be greatly appreciated.

WordPress and plugins are all up to date.

Hi @stvnjhncndy. Thanks for using MetaSlider. We have a troubleshooting guide here that should help: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/troubleshooting/. I’d recommend going through all the steps but #5 may be the most relevant.

You can also try disabling the rich text editor by going to the settings and unchecking the “Enable TinyMCE” box.

Thanks for using MetaSlider. We’ve not heard from you in over 10 days so are closing this discussion for now. Please post back if this remains an issue.
