Captions have me really confused.
What I want is to display the uploaded file name without ‘-‘ being added between the words as the caption and without the border around each image.
What I have is displaying the “description” as a caption with a border around each image. I accomplished this by enabling the “gallery-captions” legacy template.
Short of getting what I want, if I could just get rid of the borders.

Suggestions? BTW I’m a newbie so detailed instructions are helpful.

Indeed, with our Basic thumbnail display, you will need to use the legacy template “gallery-captions”. I’m unable to see the borders here: https://www.morelandarts.com/flynts-drawings-gallery/

Did you already fix the styling?

Hi Gaby,

I did not solve my issue with the borders. What you were seeing was a different gallery plugin. I like NextGen better so I would like to get rid of the borders. Here is a page running the NextGen plugin so you can see what I’m talking about.

Hi @flyntm,

Please add the custom CSS rule from below to “Gallery -> Other Options -> Styles” to hide the borders:

.ngg-gallery-thumbnail {
border: none !important;
}
