We tried to reproduce this issue on our test servers – and have no luck with this.
Please provide link to your gallery and screenshot of the issue. We will check what is wrong and will help you to solve the problem.

Unfortunately I can not provide you with a link since the gallery I am talking about is installed within a password protected website (customer portal).
However, please find here 3 screenshots:

We have different galleries on that page and for some of them the captions work properly, for others they don’t.
Do you need any further info, such as code, size of the images etc?
Please contact us through our internal support and provide us link to the page with gallery and password for protected website. Most likely there are some conflicts with theme styles. In order to clarify the problem – we need to see the page with gallery. We will check what is wrong and will help you to solve the problem.
