It seems to me you could use an ecommerce plugin like woocommerce and one of the “convert it to a catalog” plugins to let you create a catalog of cars in stock.
Dear Steve:
Thanks for getting back to me. I have seen many car dealer plugins that already have a lot of options that are specific to sale of cars but wanted to see which one of these is better. I don’t want to try each one and still not get the best of the lost. Have googled but not able to find a comparison of the various plugins.
Thanks,
Regards,
Nance
I will post a question in the plugins forum but generally in the past rarely receive a response there.
Steve, since I was in time constraints, just picked the one that was on the top of the list in search and it was WP Car Manager and for now it is working okay. I have created a page http://australia-car-exporter.com/cars that is now listing the cars I have just added but i wanted to achieve is to have a widget in the side page that will take the customer to this page ad a menu entry is not as noticeable.
The developer have listed shortcodes, is there a tutorial page on how to create a side widget with shortcodes. I know I should know this but have been creating Joomla sites for the past few years and still finding hard to wrap my mind around WordPress.
@sterndata Thanks for the link. Added a widget with the shortcode. Please see the page it is now being listed on the side but it is now listing the entire database. Is there a way to modulate the widget so it only displays first five or six entries.
Please contact the support page for that plugin.
They have a very poor response rate on their sub-forum. Will keep fingers crossed.
