    Hey,

I just placed a testorder with the new plugin (I already bought the licence). And is recognized that there are no fields for the “cardholder name” if a person orders something with his credit card.

So if braintree processes the purchase to my braintreegateway account. The sale does not contain an information about who actually bought the product.

How can I manage this? I need to see the customer names in my braintree account.

    Kind regards

    Hello @pamatas,

Did you verify in the Braintree Sandbox that the transaction did not have a customer associated with it? When a transaction is made via WooCommerce checkout, the customer’s first, last name, and phone number is associated with the transaction.

This hasn’t been an issue with our other merchants.

    Thanks,

I attached an image so you can see what I meant.

    Testsubscribtion

I placed a normal order and put my details in woocommerce checkout form. But it appears no customer name in my braintreegateway.

    What can be the reason?

Thank you for your help, I really want to get that going.

    Hi @pamatas,

The name portion is populated based on the payment method that the subscription has been created with. If you click on the subscription ID within Braintree, you will be taken to the subscription page and there you should see the payment method token. Above the token should be the customer’s name along with the customerId. I suspect that the customer details related to the customerId are not populated with the first and last name.

    Can you confirm for me?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

no i can’t confirm. Even if I click on the subscribtion ID you can’t find a name there. It is just not there 😉

I will try it again. But if you have another suggestion I would be pleased if you tell me 😉

    Thanks,
    Kind regards

    Ah I got it!

The problem was, that I was the admin and I was logged in with my own personal account when I placed the testorder.

I tried to log off and to buy again. It worked! So there is no problem …the problem was me 😉

    Thanks again,

    Kind regards
