Carousal Links

On this page you see a carousal of artists sliding across. When any one of them are clicked on it takes the user to a page with info. I want to disable the link so they’re not clickable. These are Posts. I tried changing the Permalink to have a # at the end but that didn’t work so then I tried changing Published to Draft and that didn’t work either. Is there any other way to remove/disable the links?
