Carousel (Amazon Link)

    I must preface by saying I am an idiot. Please go gently with me…

    I’ve loaded the Amazon Link plugin to one of my sites and have been able to activate the carousel where I want it within a post.

    I don’t seem though, to be able to change the items in the carousel. I’ve used the widget and been on the Amazon site where I’ve chosen items and have had code generated which I’ve pasted into the template. The template then shows the items I’ve picked. When I then select the template in the post, it reverts to the original items. I’ve been into Settings and tried to changed the ASIN’s in Template ASINs, no change, I’ve emptied the cache and reloaded the page, I’ve reset the template and tried again.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the slow response, been very busy.

    The Carousel in the Amazon Link plugin, is not connected with the ‘Carousel’ widget on the Amazon site. You have to tell the plugin directly which products you wish to display.

    Using the original ‘Carousel’ template that comes with the plugin, add the following to your post:

    [amazon template=carousel&asin=0893817449,0500410607,050054199X,0500286426,0893818755,050054333X,0500543178,0945506562]

    Change the list of asin values to change the products displayed.
