    Hi,

I have problems on the website when I update the The 7 theme (from vers. 12.1.1) and the Elementor builder (from vers. 3.25. onwards), and for this I had to restore the previous backup already 2 times to put everything back in order. I would like to point out that the problem occurs only on the mobile versions, while on the desktop device there is no error. The problem is in the layout of the testimonial carousels. For example: for desktop the alignment of the elements is divided into 3 columns, instead for smartphones it is on one column, for tablets on 2. When I update the theme and the Elementor plugin, on mobile devices the layout “inherits” the desktop configurations, that is 3 columns and not 1 as it should be. It is important to point out that when I see the preview of the page from the dashboard on the website in the mobile version I see the correct layout. I tried to clear the cache but it did not help. (I use the W3 Total Cache plugin) Can you help me?

These are the versions still in use and that do not cause any problems
    Elementor 3.24.7 – The 7 Theme 12.0.2

The site was recently updated to WordPress 6.7.1

  • Hi @stewenrichard, thank you for reaching out and providing detailed information about the issue. While the Testimonial Widget is not part of the Ultimate Addons for Elementor Lite (UAE Lite) plugin, we’re happy to assist you with troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.

Please follow these steps to pinpoint the cause:

    1. Switch to a Default WordPress Theme: Temporarily activate a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four and check if the issue persists.
    2. Deactivate Plugins: Deactivate all plugins except Elementor and The 7 theme’s required plugins, then test the layout.
    3. Clear Cache: After making changes, clear the W3 Total Cache again and check the site. You might also want to try accessing the site in an incognito/private browsing window.

If the issue resolves with these steps, reactivate plugins one by one to identify any conflicts.

If you continue to face the issue, please let us know. We’ll be happy to assist further!

Ok, the Carousel testimonial widget is part of the The7 theme, and one of the latest theme updates, 12.1.0, resolves compatibility with Elementor versions 3.25 and higher. Unfortunately, the text content of the latest 12.1.1 changelog released but not specified is not known. I find it strange that in the dashboard, if I view the mobile preview, the Elementor builder does not show me any anomalies. Offline, unfortunately, even by clearing the cache, I get a messed up layout only for smartphones.

I find it difficult that it is the fault of a plugin, also because otherwise the problem would also occur on desktop. Do you have any info about the The7 theme changelog or can you recommend something at the cache level, since I only encounter the problem on mobile devices?

    update:
    Good morning,
I tried to update Elementor version 3.25.10 and The 7 theme vers. 12.1.1 again, but the problem with the carousels remains ALWAYS AND ONLY on the smartphone device. I leave the link to view the carousel layout that should be displayed in 1 column instead of 3: https://solho.eu/servizi/

I would like to point out that from the dashboard the preview with Elementor builder is displayed correctly! Offline no.

Before updating everything I disabled the minifi js and css of the w3 total cache plugin, but nothing. Can you understand something?

@iankusht Why do you need off site contact? And if you do that, if it includes getting access to the users site via login to WordPress or the server itself when it comes out and it always comes out, you can be banned and have your plugin closed.

Can you assure the moderators that under no circumstance will you seek that level of access for a forum user? It is that serious.

    Please reply in this topic.

    Hi @jdembowski,

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I sincerely apologize if my response gave the impression that I was requesting off-site contact or access to the user’s site. That was not my intention.

To clarify, I was suggesting that the user provide additional details (such as steps to reproduce the issue and screenshots) to help us better understand the problem and provide guidance within this forum. I completely understand and respect that asking for direct access to a user’s site or server is against the forum’s guidelines, and I can assure you that I will not request or require such access under any circumstances.

Moving forward, I’ll ensure my responses stay fully within the forum’s policies, and I’ll focus solely on providing support and troubleshooting advice here. Thank you for the reminder and for ensuring the safety and integrity of the WordPress support forums.

    Kind regards,
    Ankush 😊
