Is there any way to change the transition when advancing through images in a carousel gallery? I’d just like the image block to advance left or right when the user navigates. That image sliding under and to the right effect while the block advances is very distracting and not very user friendly, imo. I’m not using any overlaps on my carousel.

Also wondering how to get more than 3 images to display for screen sizes in the 800px range. My gallery thumbs are small, so there’s a lot wasted space that could fit a 4th image at that size.

    Thanks much for any advice.

    Hi @swcomm

On your first question, that transition that you are referring to is currently the default behavior as a visitor scrolls through the images, or if autoplay is enabled and it cannot be changed for now.

With that said, I’ll be forwarding this (the option to enable/disable the effect) as a feature request to the rest of the development team for their consideration.

On your second question, could you first kindly share a page containing the gallery with the small thumbs? Thanks in advance for doing so.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

Sorry for the response delay – thanks for checking on that effect. Regarding the gallery with small thumbs – it’s being used with a shortcode in a widget. So perhaps it’s my theme or my CSS? Let me see how medium screen works with the carousel on a regular page before you spend any more time on this. Thanks again!
