Carousel images not found

When I try to use gallery or carousel, on the latest version available, it says “Images not found”. Yet I can see those images and use them elsewhere, as a matter of fact they are shown on the carousel preview. The permissions to the folder seems OK as I can upload them. Thanks in advance.

I think it is a 5.0.4 problem. Another site I own I use 5.0.3 and works flawlessly.
