Carousel Template Shortcode loads default image when clicking thumbnail
-
– WordPress up to date? 3.5.1
– NextGEN up to date? 1.9.12
– What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (pretty continuous upgrading for quite some time)(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
– MySQL up to date (at least 5.2.4)? 5.1.39
– PHP up to date (at least 5.0)? 5.4
– The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Yep
– PHP Safe Mode OFF? YepAdditional information that will help us find a solution:
– Who are you hosted with? Dreamhost
– What theme are you running? Custom theme based on Genesis
– Which plugins do you have installed and activated? Around 30, too many to list easily.
– Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to the WP default, and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (*be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) I can’t do this, it’s a live site. Here’s the deal:
If I create a new carousel using the shortcode:
[nggallery id=5 template=carousel images=7 ]The gallery appears, with thumbnails but clicking a thumbnail just reloads the default image.
Older carousel galleries work OK : David Omer 2011
A new page, with the same shortcode doesn’t work: David Omer 2012
Any ideas?
