Hi,
What do you mean? Can you explain the issue with more details?
I can assure you the <p> tag works perfectly fine in the theme. You can check the theme’s demo website http://themedemos.webmandesign.eu/modern/style-guide/
Regards,
Oliver
I have a post:
#ESUHomecoming
Reunions, bonfire, parade, football and more; there’s never a dull moment.
But it displays like this:
#ESUHomecoming Reunions, bonfire, parade, football and more; there’s never a dull moment.
I have tried
and <p> to get #ESUHomecomeing to be on a line by itself.

Hi,
You are doing something wrong. From your reply it seems you are using markdown syntax. Please note that WordPress does not support this by default. Use a visual editor to write a post https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Writing_Posts#Visual_Versus_Text_Editor
If you are new to WordPress, you can watch videos mentioned in theme’s user manual http://www.webmandesign.eu/manual/modern/#help-wp
If you want to write your posts in plain HTML, you can read HTML tutorials at http://www.w3schools.com/html/
Regards,
Oliver
Also, please note that when you open a <p> tag, you need to close it too with </p>.
But like, I’ve said, there is a simpler solution: http://expresstuts.com/post-formatting/
