Looks like a CSS conflict. Try switching themes temporarily and disabling other plugins to check.
The image is just an svg which Chrome supports.
I Also had the same problem. The problem is on the browser cache, on my stagging didn’t have any problem, but I don’t have cache on it. I believe that James need to add the version when he is calling the css. Here I made work with the autoptimize plugin, that makes sure the clisent is loading the lasted version of the css.

Good catch, I’ll fix that in the next release.
Same thing happened to me. I did refresh the cache in the browser and that did resolve the giant image at the bottom but the tab is not showing up anymore at all.
