cart items returning after deleting
-
I’m running a test purchase on my woo-commerce website, I am adding items to my basket and then going to the basket to see the items in there, I then click the remove item button on each item and it removes them, I then add some new items to the basket, go to the basket to see those items, but it still shows the first items that I added and removed

Hi there!
I understand how confusing it can be when removed items reappear in the cart.To assist you better, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
- System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status
- Also, include site URL too
Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.
sorry I am not sure what you need from the system report, can you please guide me to what you’re looking for?
also my site is in maintenance mode
No worries at all, I’m happy to guide you through it!
The System Status Report helps us understand your site’s setup and environment, which is key for troubleshooting cart behavior. Here’s how to get it:
- Go to your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to WooCommerce → Status.
- Click the “Get system report” button at the top.
- Then click “Copy for support”. This will copy the full report to your clipboard.
- Paste it into Pastebin or Gist and share the link here.
Even though your site is in maintenance mode, the report will still give us what we need to investigate. Once we have that, we’ll take a closer look at what might be causing the cart items to reappear after removal.
Looking forward to your response.
Hi there!
I tried accessing your site, but it’s currently showing a “Coming Soon” page. Could you please disable the coming soon mode so I can access your site and try to replicate the issue?
In the meantime, I’d suggest running a conflict test to see if that resolves the problem. Please deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce and activate a default theme, such as Twenty Twenty-Five, to check if the issue persists.
You can follow the steps here to run a conflict test:

Just to verify have you tried conflict test?try now please
I am making a backup now to run the test
Hi there!
I tried to replicate the issue on your site, and I was able to reproduce it. It appears to be related to caching or a possible plugin conflict.I refreshed the page twice using a no-cache link, and the correct product appeared. Here’s a video showing the correct product after refreshing the page twice:
https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cT62bEnbrbRCould you please try clearing your site cache and then deactivating the LiteSpeed Cache plugin?
Once done, please go to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and perform the following actions:- WooCommerce transients – Clear
- Expired transients – Clear
- Clear template cache – Clear
- Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
- Clear customer sessions -Clear
Next, please clear your browser cache and then check again.
Let us now if that work for you.Hi there!
This is a follow-up message regarding the site backup. You can create a staging site and run a conflict test there to ensure your live site remains unaffected.
You can use the following plugin to create a staging site:

Hi there!
Here’s a helpful guide on how to clear the cache using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin:

I hope this helps!
