Discount not displaying in cart widget, only when I view my cart page.

How do I make it show in the cart widget?

I dont think so – it’s the woocommerce widget

If you have a quantity of three or more of any product the discount will apply.

You setup a cart based discount, not a product based one. Cart based discounts are only displayed in the cart or checkout pages.
