Case Sensitivity & “Create Your Own Code” Issue Still Not Fixed
-
Hello,
We are experiencing critical issues with the Discount Rules plugin.
Based on existing forum discussions, we are aware that you’re already informed about the coupon code case sensitivity problem introduced in a recent update.
Unfortunately, the fix provided in the forum does not resolve the issue, coupon codes are still case sensitive, which is breaking our workflow.
Furthermore, when using the “Create your own coupon code” option in the Pro version, the discounts are never applied. No matter what code is entered, the discount does not activate at all. This renders one of the key features of the plugin completely unusable.
We understand that the “Create your own coupon code” feature is part of the Pro version, but please note that the case sensitivity issue also affects the free version of the plugin. This makes it a legitimate issue for this public forum, as it impacts users beyond the Pro-only feature set.
We rely heavily on your plugin and urgently request that this is addressed in an official update. Please prioritize this, as it is directly affecting live customer checkouts.
Looking forward to your response.
