Im not sure what you mean, can you explain a little more.
Hello, bhaldie
The categories for mDocs posts (http://prntscr.com/l0xwil) seem to be the same as the ones created for the default blog posts (http://prntscr.com/l0xxfk). It creates limitations if you would like to set different categories from the blog posts
Also gives us a wrong dimension of the both type of posts as it counts posts all together (http://prntscr.com/l0xytu) in each of the mDocs and blog posts tabs (https://www.ceb-solutions.com/news/).
Can’t we create our own categories assigned only to mDocs posts?
Thanks
im not sure thats how categories work in general. A category is a WordPress object that added meta data to post and pages. You can’t pick and choose which ones are visible to each post or page type.
I’m making an analogy with other posts types that have their own categories:
– Portfolio posts, theme built-in (http://prntscr.com/l0zeq5)
– Events, plugin The Event Calendar (http://prntscr.com/l0zf1n)
ill think about it for the future.
