Yes, I’ve been tasked with creating a “NEWS” site and they like the link preview like your plugin displays the list of links. We would like to be able to give them categories so that a use could select all links in the category “health” say for example or “economics” for another category and only those would display. Did that make sense?

I’m afraid I don’t really have a solution for that in Visual Link Preview.
Sounds like you’re looking for some kind of filter like our WP Ultimate Post Grid plugin has?

Yes, but how would I still be able to use the Post Preview with that? It looks like it only works with post. Right?

I’m afraid not no. Visual Link Preview was not really built for advanced filtering like that. Just for including a link here and there and the page.
So I don’t really see an easy solution to combine both.

@wynot , can you not use ACF to create what you are looking for? Because you can add taxonomies to it then.
