Categories disappeared

I hadn’t looked at the site for some time, but when I looked today, I noticed that all my categories had disappeared from Directory > Directory Categories.

When I check the DB, I see the categories listed in the wp_terms table and the relationships listed in the wp_term_relationship table.

But when I check the individual listings under Directory Admin > Listings, I see that none of the listings have categories.

Any idea how that could happen? Is there any easy fix? Or do I have to manually go through each listing and apply a category to it?
