Categories in Wp Google Maps

I welcome the addition of Categories, since there are going to be a large number of sites referenced on my maps. At the moment, however, I cannot see how to alphabetize the categories as they appear in the Select button above the map. Nor, apparently, do I have authority to delete any Category.

It would be wonderful if there could be a Select button to search through the Titles one of these days!
