    I am trying to import our membership directory into the Connections plugin. I need to update this at least 2x a month. Some companies have just a couple business categories, others have 6 – 14. When I import the CSV file, not all categories are being uploaded to the members connection profile correctly.

    It creates a category with all the listings, ie: “basement-design-finish-bath-sales-services-bathroom-remodeling-carpet-contractors-suppliers-floor-coverings-home-improvement-kitchen-remodeling-remodeling-residential-restoration” or sometimes, it will truncate it and cut it off anywhere in the listing and create a 2nd category listing using the rest of the words.

    A couple times, it didn’t import any of the listings.

    What am I doing wrong?

    The most frequent issue that causes issues with CSV import is the formatting of the CSV file. Is it possible for you to share a download link of the CSV that you import so I can take a look?

    Are they any current entries in your directory that have incorrectly imported categories? Can you share a link to that specific entry?

    I figured it out. I was deliminating with commas, not with semicolons. Everything (I think) is working the way it is supposed to.
