Categories Section Is Broken, Doesn’t Change

    The Categories Section of this theme is broken. Anytime I pick a category and click Publish, the Liveview refreshes but it does not update the category and I get the following error: “Looks like something’s gone wrong. Wait a couple seconds, and then try again.”

    For troubleshooting, I installed it on a new freshly installed WordPress with a new database and no other plugins installed and also got the same error, so this leads me to believe the error is with the theme itself.

    Issue can be recreated by going to WordPress admin page > Themes > select Legacy Blog > Customize > Frontpage Sections > Categories Section > enable > go to any Category drop-down > select any category > Publish. Then the error occurs.

    Also the same error happens when attempting to change the Grid Layout from 2 to 3.
