Whats the point of having categories if you can sort or filter with them on the front end?

You can with any of the premium templates, like cMap.

If you have any further questions about the templates, please open a new support thread in our support forums as support for commercial plugins such as the premium templates for Connections is not permitted in the wp.org support forums.
