categories/different background image/

Hello all…ok i have tried just about every plugin to achieve getting a different background image for my different categories without success the closest i got was by using wp-background lite. but that changes background image on everything…here i thought it was going to be simple…initially i tried pages for each category and have the posts go to that page…OMG… i am great with computers but have no knowledge of programming and afraid to dive into that…if someone can point me to or tell me how to set up a different background image for the different categories that would be GREAT!
