    Are you using WP FullCalendar? That should help.

    Can you help with what settings I need for the calendar to show up on the category page?

    have you tried shortcode like [events_calendar long_events=1 full=1 category=”1,2,3,4″] or [fullcalendar category=”1,2,3,4″] where 1,2,3,4 is the event categories id

    Yes I figured it out by using a shortcode.
    I was hoping for more of an option where I did not need a shortcode.
