    Hi everyone.

I have been trying to figure something out but I just can’t seem to do it.. so here goes:

With some themes, when you click on one of the categories, when the page loads it displays “you are browsing the archives for…” etc, etc” I really want this feature on my theme as it just flips to the page with no introduction or anything.

So I was wondering how I could enable it, or if anybody knows of any plugins that would let me add a short description before the blog posts in each particular category, so that readers know which category theyre reading.

First one to answer gets a free mansion in beverly hills (honest!)

    Many Thanks

    Martin

You can do that with Category Templates.

    Hi Michael,

I just have another question, If I wanted to style the text that appears before each categories posts, can i just add for example:

    <div id=”sticky-snip”> <p class=”mystyle”>
The following is a list of posts about New Energy Business
    </div></p>

    and then add:

    .mystyle to the css?

    I sussed it.

I realised, It didn’t seem to work when I used <p class= etc, so I put #sticky-snip in the css instead and it worked! 🙂

    yey
