    What is a RSS URL and words you are trying to filter?

    Hi Allen,

    Thanks for responding so quickly.

    I’m trying to set up a news aggregation site for Southampton Football Club so the words I’ve put into the filter (I haven’t checked the ‘exclude’ box) are:

    Southampton, football

    I’m getting the opposite of what I expected. For example for the feed http://sportsvibe.co.uk/home/rss I got a post through which has nothing to do with Southampton and it doesn’t contain the word “Southampton” in the article.

    I am new to this so I may be doing something wrong – I might just be a muppet! 😉

    at this point, the filter works with OR logic, not AND logic..so when you say your want posts only with Southampton, football

    you are saying give me only posts that have either Southampton OR football in them.

    That appears to be the problem…anyway, in a future version more sophisticated logic might be built in.
