Category ID visible?

I would like to easily view the Link Categories ID’s in the admin page. This makes creating shortcode to display category SO much easier. ([simple-links orderby=”title” order=”ASC” title=”Related Links” category=”14″] for example) As it sits now, I’m having to GUESS at the ID based on the order of creation. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the tip. I have a plugin called Reveal IDs that works for posts, pages, etc, but does not reveal the ID column in the Simple Links admin pages. I’ll manage with the float-over urls. Just would be nice if the Reveal IDs plugin worked for your stuff, too. Collaboration, maybe?

Hi @stoverld,

I am the author of the Reveal IDs plugin and will have a look at it. Even though my plugin actually displays IDs for all custom post types and taxonomies automatically, but I’ll have a look. 🙂

@stoverld Just released version 1.5.3 of my Reveal IDs plugin that enables ID columns for plugins that register non-public post types and taxonomies like @mat-lipe’s Simple Links plugin.
