Category in subject

    Hi,

    For some reasons (for tweets, for instance) I have to include the category name in the subject so I don’t like that Postie uses it to categorize the email. I mean, everyday I send an email with the subject “Retrosong of the day: Song” and it will be published under the “Restrosong of the day” category but I don’t want to remove the words “Retrosong of the day” from the subject. Is it possible?

    The simple thing to do is include the category text twice, once without the colon.

    Retrosong of the day: Retrosong of the day - Song

    I’ll add a setting to allow keeping the category text in the title in a future release.

    But if I have set to publish in the category “Retrosong of the day” and the subject is “Retrosong of the day – Song” (without the 🙂 I have no need to repeat it, right?

    Yes, if you’ve set a default category you won’t have to repeat it.
