Category Link to Parent

    Is there a way to link to the parent category without the location information?

    For example, I have Joe’s Pizza Restaurant in Los Angeles, California, and the categories are pizza restaurants and Italian restaurants. I want to link to /places/pizza-restaurants/ and /places/italian-restaurants/.

    Currently, the category links go to /places/pizza-restaurants/California/Los-Angeles/ and /places/Italian-restaurants/California/Los-Angeles/

    Is there a way to pull in the main category without any of the location?
