• Not sure what happened, but now all of a sudden on my category pages, it’s showing the links to my subcategories along with the thumbnails to my subcategories. I just want the thumbnails (the way it used to be) not the links too.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Did you check your Woocommerce settings in customizer>Woocommerce?
If they are correct, please try to save the settings again.
    Cleared all cache?
Saved scripts and styles of OceanWP again?

Did you do updates prior to this?
I see you have an OceanWP child theme, are there any customizations in there that might cause this? I have several shops running with OceanWP and Elementor and can not reproduce this so far…

There was a WordPress update. I don’t think I changed anything in Woocommerce or Elementor. Maybe it’s something to do with the OceanWP theme?

I’m just assuming it has something to do with Elementor because that entire page is built with Elemenator widgets.

    Strange this is happening!

OceanWP does have settings to style Woocommerce.
I see you have added some text in the category page.

    What are your settings there?

Like I said in my edit above, that whole page, including the text, is Elementor widgets. I’ll check with OceanWp though….might be something in the customizer. I’ll let you know (usually takes them a day to respond) what they say. Thanks. 🙂

    Hi,

Oh, sorry, did not see your edited post.
Ok thats entirely build with Elementor PRO widgets and not a regular WordPress/Woocommerce default catagory page?

Is that page set to be the default shop page or is that a random page, filled with Elementor Woocommerce widgets?

    Thread Starter moonyg

    (@moonyg)

It’s a Woocommerce category page built with Elementor widgets from the bottom of the header down.

Looks like your store might be confused about its default Woocommerce shop page.
Look there seems to be a https://moongiver.com/shop-2/

When I try to get to https://moongiver.com/shop/ ( which is by default the page that Woocommerce installs itself) it automatically goes to shop2.

Are there more then one shoppages and could it be this confuses the Woocomemrce end points?

    (@moonyg)

Hmmm…don’t know why that changed to shop-2. I edited to shop now as it’s the only shop page I have.

But in the menu there is no “shop” page if I am not mistaken?
    I only see category pages?

Is this an imported demo OceanWP shop?
Maybe there are some hidden settings somewhere?

Just trying to figure it out, wonder why this is coming from…

    Thread Starter moonyg

    (@moonyg)

Yeah, it’s an imported demo site I’m building off of (that’s probably where shop-2 came from). I’m slowly deleting pieces of it as I build my own site. I wonder if I deleted something I shouldn’t have.

I took the shop page out of the menu because I figured it was redundant as I have my supplies and gifts already listed in the menu.
