I’m setting up category pages for the first time and am having trouble getting the sidebars to show on them. These are direct links on the menu that then lists everything in that category. I know I must be missing something but I can’t figure it out. Here is the first category I’ve tried attaching a sidebar to. This sidebar is also attached to 2 specific blog posts.

I got it to show. I had to make a new “group” and add the category to that. Not sure I understand the reason why but I’m thrilled its working!

Thank you for your feedback and great that you got it solved!

To clarify, indeed the conditions must be in two groups. Any content you add to a group will be recognized as associated. So what your first attempt actually meant was:
“Display sidebar with posts X and Y containing category Crafts & DYI”
