How do I widgetize a theme ?

    Hello, I’d like to know what kind of code must I use to widgetize a theme, in order I can add any widget from the WP core.

    And then … are there other ‘widgets’ beyond those automatically offered ?

    Lots of them. Many plugins also offer widgets to go with the plugin.
