I have successfully been using Postie for a while but have only ever focused on a single default category so my emails use the body section with…

I recently needed to create a post that went into two categories and reading the instructions it seemed that identifying the category IDs was the best option and the manual implied I could change my title line (as it is the subject line) to…
[id1] [id2] #Title of post…# but that didn’t work so I tried #[id1] [id2] Title of post…# but again that didn’t work.

I did get it to work by changing the actual email’s subject line to [id1] [id2] Title of post… and then place my tags and date in the main body.

My question is, is it possible to use just the email body section to achieve this? I ask because I have a semi-automated process which needs to use a specific email subject for later analysis and data gathering reasons. So the main body of the emal might look like…
[id1] [id2]
#Title of the post#
tags: tag1, tag2, tag3
date: Jan 20, 2026
