When trying to submit a listing, the recaptcha wasn’t working, no matter what I did, so I have now disabled that.

But now the business category selection isn’t working. No matter how many times I have tried it comes up with an error saying I haven’t selected a business category. Even though I had.

I have tried disabling ‘required’ from the form but it does not allow to do so.

Can you tell me a bit more?
– What version of WP are you running here?
– What exact version of BD? (number, please)
– Have you tried a conflict test yet? Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

It sounds very much like a conflict could be happening, so definitely post the results of that.
