Category widget question

Hello to all.

I want to ask if is possible to do this:

I would like that edit the category widget and that it only would show the subcategories of the current active category.

For example, if yo visit my site here:

unk[XXX]tal.com/category/deporte/ (please, remove [XXX] you will see that category Deporte has 4 subcategories:

– Destreza
– Fuerza
– Resistencia
– Velocidad

I want a widget that auto detect what is the category of the current page and it only shows his subcategories and not ALL the categories and subcategories of the entire website like it do now. That page has my own design of what I want in the right sidebar, but it is not programmed, I would need to add 16 extra sidebars to fill al the other categories…

Any help please?
