Category/Postname issues

    Hello,
    I have the latest version of WordPress and SEO plugin. I always get a 404 page when I use the custom permalink of /%category%/%postname%/

    However when I disable all plugins and then try this permalink, it works. I then activate the plugins one by one and it yet works. I save the SEO plugin for the last. As soon as I activate it, I get the 404.

    Any insight/reading material/solutions for this?
