Causing problem with WordPress new user registration

    When I install this plugin, the e-mail a new user gets after being created is not correct.

    The e-mail looks like this:

    Username: myNewUser
Password: both
http://domain.com/wp-login.php

    When it should give the password and a link to change password.

    What I did:
    – Installed WordPress 4.2.4
    – Updated to 4.3
    – Create new user (check to see that it is ok)
    – Install WP-SpamShield
    – Create new user (check to see if the registration e-mail is ok)

    Hi bjarkeml,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. After being notified about your support thread, we tested it out on one of our test servers and confirmed the issue. It seems to be related to changes in WordPress 4.3, as it did not happen in WordPress 4.2.4.

    After running a few tests, we found that the new user notifications changed in 4.3.

    We’ll investigate the code changes in 4.3 that affect this and get a fix out as quickly as possible.

    Update: We pinpointed the issue. A fix has been written and is currently being tested.

    Update:
    Version 1.9.5.7 has been released, and it includes the fix for this issue.

    In WordPress 4.3, some changes were made to the functionality of the notifications sent to new users after they registered. This prevented the password information from being shown in the notification emails when WP-SpamShield was active. This release fixes the issue while maintaining backwards compatibility with previous versions of WordPress.
