    Hello Stefan

I have been searching far and wide for a plugin to replace src= with Srcset= so I can serve scaled, and retina ready images.

No idea why themes dont integrate your plugin and just make it standard to do so.

My theme (Timber) restricts image service to only src=medium/large/fullscreen in galleries resulting in unscaled images and no ability to serve retina@2x.

Does Your plugin replace img tags with srcset no matter the theme?

After reading all the documentation and searching the forum I am hoping that your plugin is what I have been looking for.

Before I try to implement it, will it work with MaxCDN, Autoptimize, and W3TC?

    THANK YOU!!!

    Hi!
Yes, RWP will try to make images responsive no matter which theme you’re using. It will add srcset to images that is inserted through the editor. But depending on how the theme is developed, RWP might not be able to make all images responsive out of the box. You might have to do a bit of programming to make it work, but it totally depends on how the theme works.

Yeah, I think it will work with MaxCDN, but I know for a fact that Autoptimize and W3TC will work 🙂

    Good luck!

Thank you for your help! I have just added custom images sizes and @2x and I am hoping it will work with my theme.
