Certain image is overwritten

Hi guys,

Firstly, thank you so much for creating such a great plugin. I have been using it for many years on various websites.

But I have recently encountered an issue, which I can only assume is a bug. We allow users to upload a profile photo from a front-end form (Advanced Forms Pro form) and when they do this and the photo’s file name is image-rotated.jpg, for some reason, this file always gets replaced by an old file with the same name. We enable all of the Storage Settings, including:

Add Year & Month to Bucket Path and Add Object Version to Bucket Path

Happy to go into more detail privately.

In my case, the issue was this:

Adding this plugin, https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/fix-image-rotation/ fixes the issue… But perhaps that would explain both cases?

Is there a way you can fix that without the need for the plugin, or this is separate from what you are doing with the image?

As for the Fix Image Rotation plugin, WordPress 5.3 already handles rotated images in WordPress core. However, we’re not familiar with how Advanced Forms Pro works. But to understand your setup better, would you be able to send the debugging information from the Support tab on the site you’re having trouble with?
1. Go to the Support tab of your install
2. Scroll down to the “Diagnostic Info”
3. Paste it here in your next response. You may omit any sensitive info.
