Hi. Until a few days ago, I was preparing a course very well with the Lifter. I even prepared a Certificate yesterday morning that worked properly. But today, an error that says “certificate not found” appears and appears anywhere I install. Is it a problem with the new version of Lifter 3.8.1?

Hello there, Here are 2 things to try in your troubleshooting:

1) Refresh your permalinks: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-flush-wordpress-rewrite-rules-or-permalinks/

2) Have you run any required database updates? https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-database-updates/

I am having the same issue I have done everything you suggested… LifterLMS work ok until the new Update….

I’m sorry for this issue, I closed a security hole that allowed anyone to view any certificate (if they had the link) and I neglected to ensure that admins could bypass this as per preview management bypass roles. I’ve recorded this bug here: https://github.com/gocodebox/lifterlms/issues/344

I’m hoping to have this resolved in our next release but I don’t have a release date at the moment.

In the meantime CERTIFICATES DO WORK! Admins cannot preview them though. I realize that probably doesn’t help. Maybe knowing that a security issue was resolved eases that frustration?
