• I’m sure I must be missing something here.

    I purchased the pro version of your plugin. I see lots of nice themes to choose from, and I like the ‘elegant_style-*’ themes. However, none of the colors match my site’s color palette.

    Is there a simple method to override the background color of a testimonial to ‘#99cccc’ ? I have the slider displayed, I’m not sure if I need to make that change to the slider or the testimonial theme. Any help would be appreciated.

    I have some additional information and additional questions. To start with, here’s the short code

    [testimonials_cycle random=”true” count=’5′ width=’100%’ show_title=’1′ theme=’elegant_style-slate’ show_thumbs=’1′ show_rating=’stars’ transition=’fade’ timer=’5000′ pager=’1′ pause_on_hover=’1′ auto_height=’calc’]

    I was able to get close to what I wanted by adding this css to the custom css box:

    div.testimonial_body{ background-color: #99cccc !important; }

    However, this only changes the color of the box behind the words of the testimonial. I was originally inquiring if the “slate” part of the theme can be changed to #99ccc? If it can’t, it’s fine. Right now it’s looks good on my site.

    Additional quetions

    • Is there any way for a user to submit an avatar if they don’t have a Gravatar?
    • Everything in the shortcode listed above works correctly except for “show_title=’1′”. Do the themes override the selections made in the shortcode generator? Can I get the titles to display in some way?

    Thanks for your time!

    Hey Neil!

    I’m sorry for the delayed response, here – we don’t check the forums every day! Can you send this question to “[email protected]” via an e-mail? We don’t support our Paid products on the WP.org forums (forum rules.)

    I’ll definitely help get all this taken care of! It sounds like a few CSS tweaks are needed.

    Best,
    Richard
