Hi there, @outwardjourney,
I’m going to answer your questions one by one as follows 🙂
1. Can we change the “Apply for job” text?
For this sort of change, we usually suggest using the Loco Translate plugin to alter text strings.
It lets you find a string and change it to say something else. It may sound strange to have to “translate” text into your language, but it works. 🙂

2. Can we have the “Apply for job” button actually be a live link that takes them somewhere. When clicked now, a text box below pops up and says “To apply for this job please visit (website link)”. And they have to then click again… Not user friendly by any means.
If you don’t want to try our paid Applications add-on, you can take a look at this page about customising the job application flow. Please note that due to the customisation nature of the topic on the page, we can provide limited assistance on that.
Hope that helps!
Thank you very much! That solved all three issues I was having.
I did not use the Loco Translate plugin. When using the customizing the job application flow link you provided, I was able to change everything. The ‘Apply Now’ text is changed with the URL addition and also the other issue that had come up with the client was that using the “apply now” or website link that came up, it was not opening in a new tab until making this .PHP modification.
So far, the plugin rocks… with the exception of the logo situation. Thanks for the help!
