    Hi,

    I would like to change the color of my navigation menu. I’m using the theme Twenty Eleven.

    I took a look to my theme’s style.css but did not know how to read through.

    Any help will be most appreciated.

    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. First create a child theme for your changes.

    Let me ask you something. Do I need to create a child theme for every single theme I use? Or this is just for Twenty Eleven?

    Every theme that you have not built from scratch, that you plan on modifying.

    Thanks for you quick response. I got another question.

    I would like to migrate part of my existing HTML site into WordPress. Is there any specific way to do it properly? Any software or manuals?
