In fact, I’d like to the translate in French the whole theme.
I believe the “Continue Reading” link is part of WordPress core, so you’d need to ensure you have the French language files for WordPress:

Buttercream includes an MO/PO file for you to translate in the /languages folder. If you do translate the theme, please post the language files here on the forums for other interested users!
